I Hate the Tarheels
Ok first I havent seen an actuall baseball "fight" in ages.... A bunch of grown men running to the mound and arguing is not a fight, sorry. And to argue the C. Crisp and Rays was a fight it wasnt, 2 small punches that barely grazed each guy.Baseball is the most macho sport...other than possibly hockey.
No fights in football, you can't even hit hard anymore in the NFL or you'll draw a fine. Basketball isn't even in the arguement.
Dip, brawls, hitting batters with 95mph fastballs, hard slides, shit talking...what else could you ask for.
I have played baseball all my life, and the conditioning required for a pitcher is relentless. Football players practiced with us twice a week, and they couldn't keep up with us. However, we couldn't keep up with them in the weight room, but whatever. Its easy to take a tackle that you know is coming, but taking a fastball to the head...that takes a man.
Football has more fighting in it under the pile, or on every play. And I rather get hit with a 95 mph fastball than Ray Lewis when running full speed. And not all football hits you know are coming
162 games is a lot, and IMO is too much, if it was cut down to maybe 45 games I would be much more of a fan of baseball. The conditioning for a pitcher is tough and can really wear on the body, but not for any of the other players on the team, bc a player in baseball can go a hole game and possibly not even have a ball hit at him.
