I'm no Rays fan but...

I'm not going to argue with anyone on here, but to those who say that baseball is less conditioning than football, you are incorrect. I've seen many football players who come out to condition with us not make it through the first week.

just got back from the city, bull shit... they gave tampa bay a chance to tie the game so there was no controversy. It was obvious the game should have been delayed earlier but i'd hate to see ti end that way.

thank you, i'm so tired of people trying to correct me on this issue.

A chance to tie? Even while it was pouring the umpires were still blowing the game. Pena earned that last run.

no, they came out when kazmir cryed about the field in the 5th and fixed it, it was obviously effecting Hamels pitching and the fielding, had it not been th world series it would have already been called. Selig already said he would not have allowed the game to end with the Phillies winning because of the delay. Letting them continue into the 6th gave the Rays a chance they shouldnt have gotten.

Game was garbage. Period. End of story.

And the calls from behind the plate are rediculous, and have been since the Rays went up there. The strike zone is so skewered, it's not even funny.

Although, it's not all the officials... The Rays haven't stepped up and been batting like they were during the season and early postseason.

Also, to the guys complaining about baseball not being a on the level of football as far as playing in the rain...

When was the last time you tried throwing accurately 90+mph in 39degree rain? Also, trying to catch a fly ball with rain pouring down into your eyes?

Shut the **** up, you *****es. You're on caraudio.com for a reason, and that reason is because you're not playing football, OR baseball... you're just someone on the internet that likes to preach about shit they know nothing about.

it's not fair for the rays at all. It's hard enough to hit when the ball is right over the plate, i'm not really surprised they can't score in the series. The umps are the worst i've ever seen.

baseball is a pu*sy sport //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Baseball is the most macho sport...other than possibly hockey.

No fights in football, you can't even hit hard anymore in the NFL or you'll draw a fine. Basketball isn't even in the arguement.

Dip, brawls, hitting batters with 95mph fastballs, hard slides, shit talking...what else could you ask for.

I have played baseball all my life, and the conditioning required for a pitcher is relentless. Football players practiced with us twice a week, and they couldn't keep up with us. However, we couldn't keep up with them in the weight room, but whatever. Its easy to take a tackle that you know is coming, but taking a fastball to the head...that takes a man.
