Okay, here it is...

I'm going to take the Orion 1200d out of my evo and use it to power a single 12" sub in my extended cab. I am more SQ than SPL so I have been pondering over a brahma or an fi Q. I am going to use a sealed box of 1.0 to 1.5 ft^3 in the left rear corner of the cab.

Should I run a dual 2 ohm, or dual 4 ohm sub? I believe my 1200d is around 1200 watts at 1 ohm, and 750 watts at 2 ohms... Am I right on that?

What do you guys think I should do here? Is there another sub on par with the two I mentioned that I should consider? $400 is the maximum I will consider spending on my sub.

I would grab the dual 2 ohm version of whatever sub you choose.

A Stereo Integrity Mag will suit your needs quite well. They're going for about $350 with the group buy that ends in about a week I believe.

How about a type-x? With dual four ohm vc's I could provide it with around 750 watts if I'm right on the output of my amp... Would that work for SQ?

I also keep hearing about the soundsplinter rl-p.... How would that sound powered by my 1200d?

Remember, I am only interested in a sealed application.

I cant say if the Brahma is worth the $100 extra as I have yet to hear the Fi-Q's

I can tell you that Im extreamly Happy with my mk4 Brahma 12" which is in a .90 cu ft sealed box for SQL im running about 1000 watts Rms in at 4 ohms. It pounds!
