so that's why they haven't won one in what, 6 years now? giambi, sheffield, mussina, a-rod etc all went to new york for a ring and they don't have one. also the tigers were 3 wins away from winning the series and considering the nucleus of that pitching staff is young, they aint going anywhere. add to the fact the tigers are a big market club and will pursue free agents

he had an offseason and still was clost to 300, 40, and 100, thats pretty **** good. yankees fans just expected him to come in and win a championship, and thats a huge plate to fill for anybody
um have you looked at a-rod's stats? when it's all said an done he's gonna have 3000 hits and 700 homeruns. he's an all-time great. just amazing how you people in new york treat him. i'd be glad to bring him to detroit.

that's what they said about peyton manning. was a-rod suppose to pitch? i mean lets look at what steinbrenner has done with the team. 200 million dollars and jaret wright is pitching a must win game. that isn't a-rod's fault. also kenny rogers and jeremy bonderman shut down the yankees lineup, not just a-rod. the yankees gave up 8 runs in game 4, was a-rod suppose to drive in 9? like i said send him to detroit, we'll gladly take him.
also since you guys bitch about his contract, that was front loaded and he only makes about 16 million per, so that is very good pay considering what others have signed for
