A bit of advise. Dont rush into anything. We have all wasted money on crap by doing so. From now on refer to your self as a noob, your gender does not matter. If your looking for your subs to be there best you will need a custom built box not a bestbuy prefab. Bcae1.com is a great place to learn about ohms and such. Its better to understand than just have someone tell you what to buy.

The CAB is 200 bucks and a good amp to start with.

A 4 ch amp such as PPI between 50-100 rms x4 is ideal.

Speakers---many choices. I recently bought some Polk MM6501 have yet to install them. I do however have Polk coaxiles and sound great.
