im in the market for a new HU

i need a HU desperatly, my budget is around 200, i was looking at the clarion stuff and some moderate pioneer stuff as well...just cant make my decision...any suggestions?

definately clarion. i swapped out my pioneer premier 860 for a clarion DXZ745 and couldn't be happier. what kind of features you looking for? the DXZ745 goes for $139 at ikesound

as long as it plays cds and has moderate SQ i dont really care lol, a good EQ would be nice tho

it plays cd's and has very good sq. it lacks and EQ though.

bass and treble. it has some 2 zone crap that i think gives you a 2-band parametric eq but i haven't messed with it. i always listen to my music flat anyways.
