But how do they perform? What im looking to do is add some into the front stage of my vehicle. I have the room to add 2 in a center channel, make custom A-pillars, and custom kick-panels. Im looking to brighten up the front. Alot. What model of the tang-bands would be the loudest for a mid/high setup? Any information would be appreciated greatly. Thanks!

Bradd

Ill be blunt. Im looking to get loud. Actually as loud as possible, for a decent amount of money. I figured these speakers are priced extremely good. So if i can squeeze like 6 of them, with like.... 4 tweets in the front stage of my vehicle, ill be more than happy. Which of them would be my best option?

well if you're up to custom stuff mount a set of Dayton Reference 8in in the doors, some 6in or 5in in kicks along with the Dayton tweets. Then use the Tang Band 6.5 sub in a center channel consisting of a 4in and a tweeter. Get a good substage and you'll be set. It won't cost you too much except finding or making crossovers unless you run active. You could always get a set of 3way components from CDT. and then make a custom center channel.

Im looking to match these Specs:

Power Rating, as per EIA-RS426A (Watts): 300

Sensitivity, 1w@1m (db SPL): 97.0

Maximum Calculated SPL (dB SPL): 121.8

Nominal Cone Diameter (in.): 10 (mm): 254

Nominal Coil Diameter (in.): 2.5 (mm): 63.5

Nominal Impedance (ohms): 8

Frequency Range (Hz): 100-2000

Nominal Efficiency (%): 4.21

Max Calculated Acoustic Power (Ac. Watts): 12.6

Magnetic Material: Ceramic

Acoustic Polarity for "+" Voltage: Positive

For as cheap as possible. Not really sure how to do it as of yet. But would like to try. Thats why i figured about 4 of these:

Would do.
