I know you said you wanted 15 (JUST HEAR ME OUT) Frequency is about the kind of sub, not so much the size, the kind of enclosure, how much air you're pushing and how much power your amp is giving them, x-over frequency exc, three of the right kind of 12's will the job. Just keep a open mind ok

i want 2 15's...i had 12's and 10's.......i want to bigger for the wow factor.....when tell people i'm doing 2 15's in a millenia people go crazy....they all say i never seen that be4 so i'm going to try and make that happen.

i would find more of a "wow" factor if i heard two 12"s with sufficient airspace that pounded a hell of alot louder than 2 15"s that didnt have enough air space... then when people said "what 15"s you runnin?", you could just say "hahaha... none"...

u know that is true....i had 2 he2 10's in a 1990 ford taurus and poeple asked what kind of 12's i had ....and when i told them it was 2 10's they where shocked

i should go with the 2 12's....and try to make the output close to two 15's

but i'm thinking about getting the re sx 12's i heard they are good 4 spl and they have decent sq

i want 50/50 sq/spl

do the 15's nuttin less. get some sound splinter.....small enclosure is all thats needed, nothing huge. PM on how to go about making a box like thos in your post.

ok my problem is the hieght (flor to rear deck)its 16inches i need at least 17inches

Yea I'd just opt for the right set of 12s or a single 15. I love it when people ask how many 12s I got or 15s when I just have 1 12 and my 12 is VERY far from the best you can get out there.

Personally I go for the smaller route so my vehicle is still usable for the purpose it was built, but thats just me I guess...

If I can get 2 15's in a civic trunk, you should have no problem.

as far as trunk room..i dont care 2 be honest......i design my own boxes and the box that i want to throw in there

is a bandpass box...33wide x 17high 20deep....if i get the 15's to fit...but if not 2 12's...

i'm trying to destroy my friend who has 2 mojo 15's...but i dont think thats possible with 2 sx 12's....

as far as power i'm thinkin orion 1200 or 2500

if i'm in a rush i'll get the bx1800

yea i think he wants to have that WOW factor, so he can open his trunk where ever he goes and feel special. you know what happenes if you pop your trunk in my neck of the woods ull park ur car and come back an hour later and ur woofs wont be there. something tells me you are not interested in car audio but just trying to impress other people. are you trying to compensate for something???

buddy you can get the same loudness with less cone space. 2 15's is about what 8 cubes ported and a little less sealed. i doubt u have 8 cubes in your mazda trunk. get something more practical like one 15 or two 12's in a bad ass ported box, i could be just as loud easily.
