The old ads said "When you're out of Schlitz, you're out of beer!". These days we have beer but there's not any Schlitz to be seen in Coos Bay. So strange to see such a major brand disappear. I called up Schlitz and got nowhere with them as to why it had disappeared over here. Guess they don't care about being a national brand anymore.

When I was in the USAF in the Seventies, getting drunk to make buddies was part of the program. Old Milwaukee, Schlitz Malt Liquor and Schlitz were my standard beers back then. Schlitz tasted pretty good for a standard beer and I loved Schlitz Malt Liquor.

Nowadays I don't drink. I can be mean enough sober...LOL! I do miss "The Bull" though. I couldn't drink enough of that in the day.

I had schlitz for the first time not too long ago, and it's way better than all the other cheap beers like pbr and natty.
