RE in general is junk or just the SE line ?

RE's newer equipment isn't highly regarded. The older SE's aint bad, though. I had 4 of them at one time.

I have a small trunk so I am just looking for something to produce good clear sound in a small space. My plan is to build a 3 12" enclosure into my trunk just want something that will hit hard, but still sound good. SQL is the direction I would like to go in.
