I have yet to be impressed by ANYTHING on that show. They've done nothing original. NOTHING. And IMO, most of the cars they turn out of there look incredibly tacky.

I have noticed that a lot of the sealed boxes remi makes look waaaay too small. Anyone else notice this? Also I have never once seen them use sound deadening material. The best uh oh was when they dropped I think a 26" rim and picked it up and just kept walkiing.

Well serisouly their isnt much you can do to a sealed box besides make a fiberglass one. I actually prefer the look of non-flashy subwoofer boxes i.e. homebuilt basic shapes with some carpet on it

I do find the show interesting, but I agree w/ the rest of you about them putting the same equipment in sealed boxes. That to me isn't anywhere near as bad as watching Will run around yelling at everyone. Granted he has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders have any of you seen him actually work on a car??

I remember an episode where a guy had a 350z convertible, an he was quoted by castro at $25,000 for an alpine head unit, JL components, jl amps, and 2-jl w3v2. The guy was shocked and left.

they work fast because they are on TV and a lot of stuff is edited out. some of their really custom work that you dont see on TV is actually pretty god looking stuff. but they just dress up a plain jane simple box and call that awesome. the owner i bet isnt a jerk in real life either, you have to remember that its a show.
