I feel that if they are here legally welcome. I work for an "immigrant" and i work with "immigrants". I am the only "natural" born citizen at my work. If they wanted to be here to badly, then why didnt they take the necessary steps in order to be here legally. Maybe its my ignorance, but this is how i feel. I truly believe, that this protest tomorrow is going to turn into a complete dissater and riot. Not from the people that believe in this cause, but from the jackasses that get out of control. If this does happen i feel that nothing will be able to be done.

hahaha my buddy just called cuz he went to IHOP, Denny's, 24Hr Mickey D's, Jack in the box and they are all closed... he just got out of worked and hoped they would start this later today so that he could gt some food, but he will be marching with us later on so he is cool. its already making an impact.

we all have our own reasons for our opinions...just because you dont agree with it(not literally you, but you in general) doesnt mean it isnt enough reason for them to make the statement...im sure everyone who posted about it has reasons for there post..whether it be ignorant, arrogant or whatever.

and i havent slept in over 24 hours so im sure im not exactly proving my point:laugh: i tried but i just cant make sense of myself at the moment, so hopefully you have some luck:thumbupw:

Nonetheless, I still don't think a reasonable argument can be made to say that undocumented laborers do harm to us as a nation. Just like you cant realistically think we are going to hunt down and deport them all without some fascist style yellow star badge system enforced by secret police. I for one don't want to give up my liberties in order to remove people here to work..

I am a firm believer in the equality of all human kind...i think given the opportunities everyone is capable of becoming productive members of society...and because productive members of society contribute more than they take...thats a good thing.

Its not like there is some finite amount of the American dream....

My point is this, many of the illegal immigrants came here to make more money and send money back home to their families in mexico or their home country. In mexico or whatever country they are from they were earning a lot less than they were here but now they want to complain about working jobs American citizens dont want? I say tell them to go back to mexico and take their .50 an hour there.
