no they did not

I bought a directed 1100D from them last november. We payed by credit card, but they sure as heck didn't ask for a drivers license. I'm not sure how they are now a days though /shrug.

You have to question this. Why would they want a copy of your drivers license? How are they going to prove who you are from your picture? I mean, how are they going to match up your mug to a mugshot on your license? In situations like that, it would be easy to find some credit card and drivers license and sally forth. Sounds a bit shady if you ask me.

i just ordered an amp from them friday, and a deck today and they never asked for a drivers liscense

i ordered almost 1000 worth of stuff a month ago, and they didnt ask me anything. i would give them a ring on the ole telephone if i were you. see what they say. maybe its something new though.

yeah .. i order 2 ppi amps from them last week

they send me an email about veriflying my information

so i send them an email back with my DL and CC

well they ask u to erase most of the number on the cards

but some how they didn't recieve my email.. so i called them and fax over another copy

which took a whole week... and finally the amps got shipped out at the end of the week

so yeah..the best way is to call them and fax after u call

then they will ship ur things out right after!

I just bought a type-r through the website and wasn't asked for any extra info. Are you guys ordering through the phone? It should be automated like shopping at any other website.

they require you to if the order is over 500.00 . . .

same with Thezeb and onlinecarstereo as well
