So any word on this directed factory refurb thing? im thinking about buying a Viper D1200.1 if this orion some how falls through. anyone bought one lately?

Just got my amp. Hifonics bx1800d, Came either refurbished or used, hardware was used, and it was scraped up. Getting a RMA number and im ognna send it back and try again......I obught uit as a new amp.

I just ordered a 2500d from them yesterday and paid by credit card, and today they emailed me and said I have to fax or email them a copy of my ID and credit card, WTF kind of sh!t is that?

when ever you use a credit card through IKES they call the card company be it Mastercard , Visa or what not. Then they request the phone number of the issueing bank (the bank that gave you the card). They then contact that bank and ask them to verify the address you gave them (ikes) for your ship to address. If the bank says it doesn't match then they put the order on hold untill you can prove that you are the card holder and give them the correct address for shipment.

This helps with the whole fraud thing and is a great idea.

I wouldn't either. I would just make sure I have the corect address that is linked to the card to give to IKES.

I order my refurb VIper 1200.1 from them it came in one week... AMp works perfect.. I order my xenon 6.5 comps it took two weeks because of UPS **** up. I have good experience dealing with them .I paid with my debit and everything went well.
