maybe u already know about my search for an amp for two type r i had orderred a orion 1200d to power them but ike says they dont have anymore so my other option was viper i ordered and they dont have either so now my other option is to spend $200 more and get the orion2500 but i think thats a lot of power for the r's so another amp im thinkingof is the precision power dcx 1500.1 but i need to know if going to be as powerful as the orion this one is like $50 more so please i need advice on this one. or other options

Yeah.. plus you save a little $$..

Whats it matter? the Orion and Viper amps are no longer in stock.. The PPI should be a nice amp though.. I'd prob just get the Directed.. and save about 100$.. both really great amps though.

btw..

Directed Audio makes Viper and Orion.. so yea

directed makes ppi too. the difference in 400 watts may not really be noticeable to the ear. maybe on a mic but i don't know if it's worth spending more for the ppi. get the directed and just build a good box, to utilize that 1100 watts and you are good to go.

Depends on how much your looking to spend really. Hell.. the directed 1100 would suit them fine.. but if you wanna drop a shitload of money.. get a IA 20.1 or Viper 2500.1/Orion 2500D..

Personally I dont like Viper 2500.1's they are no long made and when they were they werent that great IMO . The new orion's however are soem mean amps . Back to your delimma PPI is an excellent amp I havent tested the new stuff but I hear good things PPI is a brand of DEI which owns all three brands lol .

and will the ppi do its rated power cause i dont care if its more expensive than the directed 1100 i only care about the power cause if they made by the same company it should do its rated powerdont it ?
