Call the cops and tell them your police radar is stolen?

I actually saw on an episode of COPS where a lady flagged down the cop and told him that her neighbor ripped her off for $20 on a crack purchase. She told the cop that she went to buy "something" from the neighbor and she gave the neighbor money but didn't get the "product." She eventually admitted that she was trying to buy crack, but insisted that the cop should either get her money back or get her the crack. The cop was laughing so hard he couldn't even talk to the lady.

Not sure why you would call the cops for a $200 item, unless you needed a police report to file an insurance claim and even then it wouldn't be worth it.

Radars are legal in every state except VA, so I dont understand why calling the police would be a bad/funny idea, maybe I am missing something here?

reminds me of the episode of cops where a girls friend got beat up so she was going to go set the guys up. she went and bought crack from them and then called the cops to go bust the guys but she forgot to tell the cops she was setting the guys up. so when the cops showed up she handed them a bunch of crack rocks and couldnt prove who she bought it from. lmao

even if they are legal its still funny. Cops hate when people have radar detecors so if you filed a report they wouldnt do anything about it cause

1. They usually dont anyway

2. they dont like when ppl have them

the dirty basterd's that broke into my car could have easily taken my radar detector..... its been about 2 month's since this happend. and i just got a letter telling me what the little basterds punishment's are and when i will be reciveing my restitution..... takeing FOREVER!

radars do more than just warn u cops are coming up, they can also give warnings on road conditions, road work ahead, accidents and emergency vehicles in the area so IMO they are a pretty valuable safety feature

of course mine doesnt do any of that, i use it so i dont get caught speeding

I saw that one. shit was hilarious. And she ended up having the wrong house anyway. Well the neighbor played it up like it was the wrong house.
