if your kenwood doesn't eject CDs try this...

if the CD won't eject get another CD and wait for the motor to stop trying to eject. THEN press the eject button.. youll hear the motor trying to eject again. while the motor is spinning take ANY CD and slide it into the cd player as if to insert it (dont jam it all the way in though, you're just sliding it in til the sensor sees it). when the sensor sees this CD it should spit out the CD that is stuck. VOILA! everything should work fine now. mine will do it every once in a rare while.

i wish kenwood wouldn't put the ejection mechanism so far back into the deck

or make it a little beefier to force the cd's out

i've noticed similar problems on all my high-end kenwoods. My $200 deck i had in high school never had a problem, but all the high end ones seem to have the mechanism buried really deep in the deck, and discs eject really slowly. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I have noticed that my eXcelons will accept/eject CDs slower than most other brands (including OEM gear in various vehicles) that I have had any experience with but thankfully I haven't had one fail to work up to this point *knock on wood* and I'm not so impatient that I can't wait an extra half a second or so...
