I call BS! Honestly who the fawk makes someone work for 48 straight hours? That is the most retarded thing I have heard. Not to mention illegal as hell.

Well here we go ****face..... its not illegal because I do it all the time. I work at the local hospital. Before this I had worked numerous 48 hour shifts for the ambulance service as an EMT so STFU if you do not know what you are talking about

Oh and they dont make me, I chose the shift, one other guy does the same thing. Like I said, it gives me time for school so I can finish this last semester then go to grad school where you get paid while you are studying

havent tried a fireman. did EMT work and phlebotomy and ER tech work though.... Maybe for a summer job I could give it a go. They need em right now and they send you to the academy during the summer

Still illegal cawk swallower! You have to have so much time between shifts if you are an EMT! You of all people should know that!: I know they work mad hours, but you all get breaks if I am not mistaken and take naps in the hospital. I wouldnt call that working 48 straight hours!

Oh also let me guess! When you are a fireman and being stationed at one place for days at a time that they work straight through too? That is not working! They sleep half the day or night depending on when they are on their shift.

What a tard.... there are plenty of times that there is no down time. Anyone that works EMS can tell you that. I wish there were few more people with the respect for such fields and FYI we cant sleep in the hospital because there are no dedicated beds for the lab *******
