Trying to decide on (2) 15's. Budget is around 250 per. Been looking at Skar vvx, Sundown sa-15 and Obsidians. Also some of the more entry level subs from Ascendant audio, Digital designs.. etc etc.

I've done some research to try and determine which of these are sq vs spl and which subs have the best low end. I'm still mostly lost

So thought it might be helpful to ask for general opinions and what you more experienced guys would go with out of what I've mentioned.

BTW the 15's would be going in a cutlass ciera. I'll have the big 3 upgrade and proper elec. They will run off an old discus 1500 for a few months and then I'll have something better.

The trunk is huge and the box will be custom built by myself and a couple more experienced friends.

You got room to fit a 6ft³+ box in the trunk? Are you building a box yourself?

I need to take all the measurements and decide how much space I want left over before I'll know how much space I've got but I think that would fit yes. And I will be building the box to spec for the subs.

A pair of DC Audio Level 4 15's. Toss 1500wrms at each one and you will be fine. They sound great and dig low.

Ascendant audio arsenal - Sundown sa - Skar vvx - DC lvl 2 - Obsidian audio - DD 1500a - Fi ssd
