If you were to spend a bunch of coin on getting a XXX or brahma, why not spend the little extra coin and get like a 15 or 18 instead of a 12 or 10? Like the 15 or 18 are just monsters and would be way louder than that 12 and 10 and the soundquality wouldn't be much worse would it?

I dunno just an opinion.

You also need a much bigger box for the 15 and 18 to get loud...maybe people don't have the room...plus the 10 and 12 will be a little tighter...

im a 12 and 15 man my self. 10's not deep enough a just dont like 18's. My trunk will not fit an 18 either. besides there are many reasons why ppl use 10s or 12s and not 15s or 18s.

Lol, ok, I have 2 strikes thus far. Heres my last shot-
If two woofers are identical except for cone area, you would have more control of the smaller woofer. Thus you should be able to "push" the 15 harder with more power than the 18 before it fails. I'd imagine this would make up for the 15 moving slightly less air....but I could be wrong...
