ok so if you could actually read what I posted you'd realize that I posted up putting up a couple of these in a door. meaning custome work. Instead of having to make rings having two small strips of wood to mount this to one on top and one on bottom. And then you would have an easy clean look. having say 4 woofers side by side making basicly an arm rest size woofer lol. putting for of the kicker solo barric line together side by side looks good I think. and if you put four of the component line together you could get a few more speakers in the setup because you're not losing space with rings. you could but speaker to speaker. That is how it would make this clean.

As for the sq of these speakers and the practicality of these in a factory location. most of the time a speaker is mounted in a factory bracket and they can have an adapter... and for the purpose That I would be using something like this for like multiple speaker application like spl vans etc sq isn't really my biggest concern its to fill the mid and high stage. I kinda laugh at ppl who say that putting 20 sq drivers in the door when your running 24 15's and say its a good sq setup is missing the idea. Yeah the voices and highs are there. but its not really what I would call a sound quality design... all I was saying was this, it would be a unique idea to do a build with square components. they have round subs and square ones why not have square speakers as well. I've just thought that having square speakers on two boards it wouldn't be too difficult to put two thin strips of wood on top and bottom of the speakers and basicly frame in the speakers. a clean easy install.

why would anyone buy square components?
So instead of putting a 6.5 woofer in a 6.5 woofer hole, you can put a smaller, square woofer in the hole, or cut the sheet metal in your doors to fit square ones in??

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif cars don't come with square holes in them.
They'd buy it because they think it looks cool. This is the same reason L5's and L7's sell. There are a lot of people out there that have tricked themselves into believing square woofers sound better than round. It doesn't matter if it wouldn't fit because people will do whatever modifications to make it fit. Most people are simple minded and easy to please when it comes to car audio. This is why companies like Pyramid, Volfenhag, and Boss are still in business.

English. Do you speak it?

Someone should make a car seat cover with a ***** attached to it, but I don't see it happening.
depends how kinky your girlfriend is...

but on a serious note... square components? how much more of a kicker leg humper could you be... they would sound like garbage when compared to real SQ components, hertz, zapco, rainbow, image dynamics, CDT etc
