If an RFL cant do it, and a treo csx 18, nor a jl w7 13 cant do it, a stroker pro cant do it, then i seriously doubt an idmax can do that

you have no idea about audio, or how it works. when sound is created, the soundwaves are acted upon by a certain medium within the air. engineers and scientists have dubbed this LR2, or as is known here, SPL Dust. once LR2 is in your system (found in a small packet for extra oomph in the Type R), you can hit any number you want. become an engineer, and it will become clear.

yes it can. they have a dubsev on the space station. they set it outside because as everyone knows, less gravity = more sound. it did 201.87 dBs at 30hz in space, because the tones travel better and are much louder.

My IDMAX did 127-128 off of 500 watts in a Yukon (1.5 cu ft sealed), if you have a smaller car and more power 130 shouldn't be hard to reach

True you cannot tell him what he will hit but people who have had similar setups can tell him what they hit. With one sub and his choice of a mild sql sub shows that he is not terribly worried about shaking the block down ! I was wondering what the spl would measure 2 (I was wondering about 2 at 2000w) but all the same. No they can't tell him what he is going to hit. Install is everything in car audio. A guy hit 170 with a single DD 10" .... People with 4 15's are barely doing 150's...
