well if you can get the IDMAX subs for that cheap then i would advise to get those. the XXX is a great sub (I run one), but the cheapest that you are gonna find it is somewhere just over 400. For 250 the IDMAX would be a great choice.

correction: It was just over 400 for the 15" XXX, so it would prolly be around 350-375 for the 12.

I can beleive that is about the lowest price you will find. You have to understand, this sub weighs about 50-60 pounds and you end up incurring a hell of a shipping fee. That is probably why it is so much to send it to Hawaii.

well **** i wish i could have gotten my sub for around 250...

But if i had that choice to make i would probably choose the XXX because i beleive that it has slightly better SQ than the IDMAX. They are both very good subs and you can't go wrong with either, but the IDMAX seems to be built for SPL more than the XXX.

and about the xxx and idmax.. i've heard the oposite.. i've heard that idmax got better SQ and xxx have more spl... i have a lexus is300, which one's better do u think..

thats were i got my idmaxes from.............. the cheapest my non sponsered self could get v.3 for was 609 if u say that we could get a discount from that site after i bought those idmaxes..........arrrrgggggg well i still gotta get componets

hehe sorry, i met up with him just a week ago.. we're both from jersey so no shipping is not a problem.. i'll just pick mine up... and watch.. they sell those idmax on ebay.. on ebay they dont go higher than 300

This is true...although the XXX's do sound good...and the IDMAX will get loud...

You said you want good SQ, and some decent SPL...I think that refers to the IDMAX...especially if you can get a discount. Both subs would work fine in your application.

yeh i got them for 300 each with 9 for the cod (freaking paypal) that rd shop is hella good.....hella fast service i ordered the idmax's a day after i ordered a licence plate and battery from sound domain and i recived them the same day soooo...... so i highly recomend that shop i8f i could i would write a review... its the best online buying experiance ive had
