My buddy had a pair of those, they don't like being overpowered and the coil gap is very small so any horizontal movement of the coil will lock it up.
They sound really nice though, more of a SQ sub that can get loud. They're very similar to Crystal CMP subs.

the ID max is a great subwoofer. for that price too.
