IDMAX 12 or JL13W7

The W7 is about 150 bucks more or so...both are going to be powered by a 1000 watt amp or so. Any ideas on which you would rather spend your money on.

Btw, the application is a boat, in a 1.3-1.5 cubic space.

If I am reading right then he said he can get the dub7 for $150....GL finding a IDMax for this

plus the ID Max prolly wont like 1000rms

the max is what i would choose since i have used them and love them

JL13W7 - $600-650 from Ebay

Both are new.

What makes one of the posters say the IDMAX12 would hurt from 1000watts. Isn't this sub rated to handle 1800 max?
