I know these guys that know absolutely nothing about car audio. The one guy just got two DUAL (as in the brand) subs, powered by some unknown "1000" watt amp. They seem to think that it hits hard when it really sounds like ***, probably the worst sounding subs I have ever heard. anyway, i was wondering what setup I should get, since i blew my other subs, that will put them to shame and shut them up. I was thinking of 1 8 or 10 or any single sub setup thats relatively cheap. any suggestions

i've got 1 15" SPL Audio sub, pretty cheap $200. at first i thought it was gonna be a real crappy sub but it hits pretty **** hard when powered right.

get a type r 10 and put 1kw on it and show em that theyre retards and that with your "1000 watts" and only a single 10 you can murder them.

then again, if you spend all your life trying to show up punks youre gonna waste a lottt of money for almost no reason.

i had a 15 CVR and it hit pretty hard and nice in a sealed box, got it for 130 shipped off ebay and a hifonics BX605 hooked it up at 1 ohm 500 RMS sounded nice
