Ideal amp for 12" d2 re xxx 05 model

I have been looking for a day now and just cannot decide what to run with it, this will be daily so i dont want to clap the sub out. Give me ideas on what to run, i dont want to spend a shit load either so if you guys can tell me some reasonable priced amps ide be stoked. i will be running it in this box.

An SAZ-1500 or an RD 1750.1 would be a great amp. You want to at least give that thing 15-1600 watts.

i was thinking as close to 2k as possible give or take. but i was thinking the same about the saz-1500

From what I was advised back in the day (a year or so ago LOL) was that 1600 for daily was about as much as you wanted to go with the XXX.

Maybe someone can counter me on this.

1200-1500 RMS and you're good, you don't need a lot of power for this beauty. I can build a good 1800-2200 watts Sub if you need but you should just keep this one...

Ask Beerdrnkr for his JBL Amp pretty sure he's gonna sell it soon for a reasonable price.

I loved mine off a 20.1, It took it like a champ and sounded awesome.

IA 20.1: 1800 watts RMS. Do a search on it. That would be another great option. I used to have one and loved it!

Yup the ia20.1 gets my vote for this application.

20.1 would be great. any close to 2kw amp turned down a lil would be best IMO. 1500w and that sub will sing. i miss my old xxx's....

....now i will say though, with the right box you can make an spl sub sound just as nice as a xxx but with signifigant spl gain. My btl sounds just as sweet as my old xxx and gets balls loud
