ID10D4 v.3 vs Kenwood TS-SW3001S4???

I have a 2002 F-250 Supercrew and I have very limited space behind my back seats. I have narrowed my search down to these two subs (ID10D4 v.3 or a Kenwood TS-SW3001S4). I am only going to run a single sub so I want to know which one would be better. The Kenwood is a 12" Shallow Mount and the Image Dynamic is a 10" regular mount. I listen to all kinds of music. I have Pheonix Gold RSD65CS components up front, stock 5x7" in the back (for now), and a JL 450/4. I plan on powering the sub with 300 watts from the amp because I am using the two 75 watt channels to run the front components. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks! -James

Id go with the ID sub. I just picked up a pair of the ID8d2v3's. For 8" subs they have 17mm xmax and they are very musical and very efficient subs from what Ive read.

I think almost everybody on here will say ID. I don't have either nor have I ever heard either, but I've seen ID recomendations countless times on these forums and nothing for kenwood other than their headunits.

Ok, so I went to the local Image Dynamics dealer to get some info and a quote for what I need. They told me that I need to have a custom box made for my truck in order for it to fit and sound the best it could. They gave me a couple of options:

1) Custom made box with a ID10D4 v.3 for $300.

2) Same custom box with a IDCTX104 for $250.

3) Custom 12" box with a used IDQ12 v.3 for $350 (this 12 is out of the owner's personal vehicle because he wants to get a IDMAX)

I am not familiar with any of these subs. I listen to all kinds of music so I want good all-around bass. I don't want it to rattle my truck apart. Any help with these options would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The ID10 would work great in ~1.25 - 1.5 ft^3 tuned to 32hz. Good output and SQ.
