Icon noise..

I know it's not blown and the dustcap doesn't seem coming off in anyway, so what other noises can a sub make. The noise i'm hearing is when I turn the volume up and there is some decent excursion. It's kinda of a rattle, but it's not coming from the inside like a sub does when it's blowng. An airy rattle, if that makes sense. It's really hard for me to describe online....so I was wondering what other things it could be.

It's in my room by the way which I am using for home audio. It's only getting about 250 watts too.

Are you pushing past normal mechanical operating? Is the dust cap hot? Did this happen at all in your car?

what size box is it?

did anything randomly fall in the port?

I think it happened in my car. I never really heard if since it was in my trunk. It's in a 2.2 cubes tuned to 32hz. There might very little air holes from when I mounted it to my false floor, Do you think it's because of that.

I'm at school right now and when I get home will see if the dust cap gets hot.

If you have a leak in the enclosure, it could be throwing things off.

it doesnt get hot, i'll seal up the leaks to see.
