Okay, okay. I know I'm just learning my way around good car audio. That's why I appreciate this site so much. Here is one I just saw today. Anyone have it? I imagine it sounds pretty good. The specs look good, anyway...

It was designed with SQ in mind first. Hence the choice of cone and copper coil among other things. If you port the ICON and give it a solid 750 to 1100 watts it will have plenty of output.

i have a 12" icon and it sounds great and does get real loud. I can imagine the 10 is just as good. Get it.

There is a video of a single ICON10 install on the ICON page. I hope to shift from a single 12 ICON to a triple 10 ICON in my daily beater, but not sure if I can fit the design I want yet.

The Icon definitely looks like a distant relative of the SI Mag and BM lines, so I'm sure it has great SQ.

3 10"?? Man, you guys really like it loud. I guess as a musician I am looking for quality sound, instead of just loud, loud and louder (even if it is quality louder)...

Believe me, the single 12 ported is plenty of output. But many people want to be wow'ed with some strange install or very loud set up. So for most applications, a single 10 or 12 is plenty.
