i'll have to do that. the stock alt fluctuate from 13.5 to 14.2 by looking at the voltage meter on the tahoe it doesnt look like it is dropping below 13.

Did you touch the amp right after it shutoff? Was it extremely hot? Hold your hand on it for 10 seconds?

yeah it is hot but not too hot that you cant touch it. it still came back on after like 5 min after i shut the car off.

what size wire going to the 20.1.(power & ground) it should be 0 gauge
