Z1 is much more efficient I believe. Z1>40.1.

Z1a would be stronger on a 12V system but the Z1 needs alot more amperage than a 40.1 at that voltage, put them both on a 16V and the 40.1 will blow the Z1 away, blows my Z1a away for sure! Polo..
