im gunna try ONE more design and see what happens, and i cant build CRX box cuz the sub depth.....i can only get 11 inches top to bottom EXtERNAL.

why do u say they love huge ported boxes when the site itself says reccommended is smll sealed.......

any of yall that can tell me what angle i would need to clear the magnet from the bottom of the box if i went with a slanted baffle that cant go passed 11 inches in height???

i would not send a li 1200 daily. the li's start to fall off past 8-900..

when i had my sub in a 1.4 cubed sealed enclosure, it got semi loud, and didnt get low at all. Now in my 2.75 cubed tuned to 29 hz, was when my LI came to life. that thing shook places in my car i never even knew could be shaken. the mounting depth is very small on the LI as well as the rl-p its 6 inches, and you only need like 1-1.5 inches away from any surface to the pole vent(or so ive read). in the box i am designing for my new rl-p its only gonna be 8 inches top to bottom.

my mounting depth is 8inches on the 15. so if i can get an angle that will like the box only be 11 inches high, ill use the 15 and false floor my trunk. i really wanna give it a chance to show its shit, but its not pretty...

well.. if your using .75" mdf, its a total of 1.5"+8"=9.5 11-9.5=1.5"

I never said that at all. I said they favor small ported enclosures. If I were you, I'd look into areoports for your limited space.

no i was subtracting the total 11" you have from the.... idonno. its still 1.5" lol

how do aero ports help? is it possile to run them partially inside and partially outside and enclsoure?
