I think the different cooling gives the sub a different look, which makes it stand out from all the other subs. Said it earlier but ill say it again thats a kick *** driver.

Absolutely not. I used these woofers to win the IASCA Stock Pro 1 World Championship.

Probably the most solid subs I've ever used. You can purchase these and have complete faith that the parts used are of the highest quality and design.
