Ia 40.1 Vs Mtx Ta92001

Local shop has one mtx left for $599. birthsheet says 3675wrms@1ohm 14.4v. I havent read much on the IA amps but the IA is rated at what the mtx does at 14.4v. 160a alt, two stinger bats and dual runs of + and - 0g will be the electrical. Opinions?

well than if you want to save money do the mtx, they are solid amps

quit suggesting Scottie J's amps I wont have the money for maybe a week and I want one left. To the op then the 40.1 is 3600@1 at 12volt not 14 there's a lil differance in power there

I have always liked MTX amps, solid amps...

i don't think u can drop the mtx amps lower then 1ohm, and the IA you can, so with the IA ur gettin better quality and more options IMO. go with IA

pimp my ride uses MTX and MTX makes the loudest subwoofers in the world, go with MTX

both are solid amps and will do the job at 1 ohm. like said the 40.1 will drop lowerr and allow you to put mroe power out of you up the electrrical and drop the load lower.....but if you're only sticking at 1 ohm then you should be okay either way. i personally would get the 40.1 but both are great amps

40.1 are hella underrated

When we clamoed my neighbors it was around 4200ish @ 2.7ohm
