hey guys im looking at 2 12" IA 187s how wold you guys rate these subs? are they loud? do they sound good?

also what would you pay for these bnib?

they get nice and loud for the low end line of subs. 300rms, but can prolly take more if you know what your doing. put them in the proper box with the right power, you will be very happy, btw sending you a pm

you are comparing subs that are meant to be quality and sound with subs that are not.

im sure the L7 will get louder but will not have the same sq. the IA is what you should buy in my opinion. will get loud, especially in a well built ported box and you will not have to sacrifice sq.

if you build a good ported box i guarantee they will be loud

give the IA subs 3.5^3 each after sub and port and tune the box to 32hz. trust me you will be happy. If I have learned anything after spending lots of money experimenting. its that good quality equipment combined with good installs means everything in this industry.

btw please do not clip your amp for the sake of output
