After some very rough estimates on tax info, I have concluded that this year I will owe the federal government $73 and the state of Idaho $6.

FUCK THAT!

Im pretty pissed, considering I am a full time college student, I made 11k last year, and paid out 650 federal and 325 state. But because I sleep at my parents house, I am claimed as a dependent and I have to PAY! If not I would have gotten at least 277 on federal and 230 on state.

And I thought I had it bad last year when I only got a total of 70 back state and federal combined.

You should fire whoever does your taxes. I was being claimed as a dependent and went to school full time and got at least 75% of federal back.

my sister does mine, but it should be a simple 1040 form. I have yet to owe federal or state taxes.

I file them myself online usually. taxactonline.com is where I do it.

But you can get the 1040 or 1040EZ forms at http://www.irs.gov.

I will usually figure up the numbers myself with the forms, then file online.

you need to try turbo tax buddy, trust me like you did on the hids. when i went back to school a few years ago and made almost $50k i thought i was going to get screwed, but wound up +$500
