i just baught a slot ported box, were the slot is in the front between the 2 subs, and i will never go back to sealed, the ported is so much more lively( and LOUD) i dont kno why sealed are known as sq becasue my sq and spl went up with a ported box. sorry just had to shoiut out the ported ones are awsome!!!

I felt the EXACT same way after i went from my homemade 1.0 Ft.^3 box to my homemade 2.0 Ft.^3 @ 32 hz box. The SPL went way up, and I think it sounds alot better. Congrats on your new box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i disagree.. i had my e15A in a ported box, 2.5cubes@32Hz.. then sealed it.. whoa, SQ was phenomenally different. I like SQ...

actually.... SQ is the same on both, it depends on what kind of sound you like, yes ported makes it louder but its also a different kind of sound, more boomy, i like boomy.... boom boom!!!! not percision bass(sealled) yuck. BOOM DA BOOM BOOM
