I want two 10" drivers, good SQ, decently loud

Just installed 2 IDQ10's best SQ subs i've heard so far, by ear they seem flat all the way down to 40hz or so. Very impressive for 10's. 600 Watts would be perfect for them.

The new ones should be out soon as well but I believe they require a bigger enclosure and more power.

thanks for the responses. Oxsign, that BM deal sounds great. Although, i would like to run sealed. How do the perform? Other than that ive narrowed it down to ID, 10w3's or an RL-i 10", thanks for the opinions.

I like the RL-1 out of that group. those subs are just sweet.
+1, I would definitely go with the RL-i. The BM's would do good in a sealed but, but would rather be in a ported one. The RL-i's love a sealed box, and 600rms would be perfect for them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I've got a BNIB TC Sounds OEM 10" and a Passive Radiator. Obviously only one "actual" powered driver, but the passive radiator boosts SPL 3dB+ if I'm not mistaken. And it'll look exactly like 2 10's while essentially (in terms of physics) having the same output as 2 10's. If you're interested PM me.
Your physics is wrong. There is going to be a huge difference from a single 10" with a PR and dual 10" drivers sealed. Output will be much different as well as frequency response and group delay. They will not sound alike at all.

If you want sealed, I would look into the new assassins. If you could go with a small ported, I would do the IDQs. IDQs sealed will sound very nice but the low end response will be limited.

just quoting what kyle told me. apparently he was wrong even though he worked for the company.

RL-i 10 it is! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif thanks. one question, are they all flat cones? the pics i see on the website looks like a flatcone. i dont like flatcones //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

He dumbed it down for you because he apparently thought you were not capable of understanding. That's pretty rude of him.

I also enjoyed the comment about RL-is loving sealed boxes and the BM not liking sealed boxes when they share very similar specs and both subs have a low Qts, Qes, and high EBP... all of which point to ported enclosures and lack of low end in sealed enclosures.

There not flat cones. They have a dish to them. Kinda like a JL does. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
