10"CVR or 12"CVT? Ford F250

My buddy wants to put a little system in his truck he said he doesn't want anything loud he just wants some bass, clean bass.

We were thinkin either a 10" cvr or a 12" cvt. It will go under the seats in the back. Which brings up another question....which tends to sound better the sub facing up towards the seat or the sub facing down towards the floor? I'm thinkin up towards the seat but alot of the boxes I am seeing premade for his box have the sub facing down. I will be building the box for him though.

I figure the box will pretty much have to be sealed, as I dont see a easy way of porting it.

Any input is appreciated.

He mainly wants clean bass. he knows its not gonna be loud he just wants it to be clean.

He was also thinkin a JL audio 10? Its just gotta be somethin small to fit under the seat.

The CVT12 is quite a bit thinner than the cvr10 so it would be quite a bit easier to fit under the seat.
