I want to seal off my 6.5 drivers from the trunk space

I want to completely seal off my 6.5 drivers sitting in the rear deck of my 1992 civic from my substage to increase bass and protect....and I dont want to use those "foam" baffles because they arent going to do anything for my midbass. (But they will however protect from the substage etc)

Im thinking their has to be some solid "thing" or "baffle" I guss to which will fit inside the hole, to which I can mount the speaker into so that the speaker will have like .2 cubes(if that) that way it gives better bass output, and protects it from the substage.

I have learned that rear fill is important to me.

Maybe what Im thinking of doing to some people wouldnt be beneficial... but I think it is

Expect to lose bass/midbass, not gain it. Those speaker are more than likely designed to play IB (in a door or rear parcel shelf) and placing them in relatively small sealed enclosures will likely hurt low-end response, not increase it.

So how would I go about increasing the bass output, but shielding the driver from the subwoofers RIGHT beneath it?...Unless their was a bigger enclosure beneath it...something bigger than a bowlish shape.... I see what your saying about the space limitation for the driver to function.

What the hell do people do with rear panels that are directly connected to subs right beneath if they dont want to ditch the rear???

I understand that I am not going to get the exact "output" and "Imagining" from the rear panel from the front, but **** I can clearly tell the difference in the rear stage/front stage just by barely tilting my head back.

Large enclosures are your only real option, if you want to retain bass output. Start by contacting the manufacturer for recommendations.
