I want the Lows to pound

if you stuff some pollyfil in the prefab box, it'll give you roughly 20% more in volume AND lower the tuning a bit....get a five pound bulk box from wallmart and put half in each chamber, easiest fix for about 10 bucks

let's not put dowm numbers as if it's for sure that you'll get a certain gain by using polyfill. There are certain amounts for certain space and it's not a sure gain either. Also, it's a ported box, shit will be flying out everywhere once it hits.

those l7s like bigger boxes. your gonna need an bigger box tuned low. those sony work grate an smaller enclousers. and with it looks like 1 4" port there not telling how long the port is that shit could be tuned 24-9hz easily! in all honestly if it was me id build an even better box for the sonys no replacement for displacement the 4 12s have more cone area. i know people wont agree with me but ive owned each generation of l7's and a few l5's id go the more cone area route.

MY kicker L5's didnt really go low till I gave em a large low tuned enclosure. Prefab dont work with them...trust me. I never go prefab...ever. Also I personally wasnt impressed at all with mine sealed either. Just my opinion though. Good luck
