Legacy is garbage... look at RMS ratings, NOT peak when buying an amp. Are you going sealed or ported? If you go ported, $300 for subs should be plenty for a decent sub stage. Another $2-300 for an amp of 1k watts or more would be decent.

Do some research before blowing your money

Knowing that amp does not put out that power,

 

look into the Mach5 MAW-15's.

unless a company underrates or overrates, nothing would overrate that much
