ok a buddy of mine has a 95 blazer with a 12w7 in a ho jl box running off of a jl 500/1..well he recently just got a hell of a deal, that im so mad i missed out on, but he got a solo x 12 in a very nive ported box, for a very good price.well he got this bright idea of me building him a box to house both the w7 and solo x..now i spent hrs (literally) tryin to talk him out of it..i tried explain that they are 2 differernt types of subs, that he wont get the same sound out of them, and also that the ohms dont match up so no amp on the face of this earth is going to give them both the same power...im at the point now that im about to build the box just so he can hear how rediculous it will sound..but then again i dont even want to waste my time..any opinions out there?

funny i was just gonna post this. im with this 1000%. you get paid for your work AND you get to talk shit to him when he realizes what cancellation is. i mean its half retarded to use different size, same model speakers. but now using a WHOLE different speaker company with your original w7, thats like 3 retards trying to invent a space shuttle. obviously the kid knows nothing about car stereos, and you should feel happy you can walk circles around this clown.

Ya i love the amp to bits. Efficiency wise im not pushing the full 2k watts right now because of sub not being able to take it but i still have same dimming as when i ran my viper 1200d, or planet audio 1200, so its more efficient than those. Just a huge amp. NEVER has gotten hot to touch, im very impressed with them
