i had mrsa

24 locations of it, all in the area between my waist and knees. yes guys, even in extremely close proximity to the goods.

its NOT fun. I wouldn't wish that pain on anybody. Was on crutches for 2 weeks because it was all in my muscle tissue of my legs, and was stumbling and limping around for a good 3-4 months all thogehter before and after the worst part(s). The infection got into my blood stream, and a few weeks after we thought it had cleared up the infection came back big time in my arm pit, had about a half golf ball sized infection right in the tender part of the arm "pit" if thats what you wanna call it. had to walk around with my arm above my head everyday..and except for when they were cutting open the MRSA in the doctors office a few weeks before, was the worst pain ive ever felt. its no joke.

its all just an extremely painful, nasty, puss filled, bloody, gory mess.

EDIT: we still dont know if i got it from the gym, or from detailing cars. and not to mention after all ^^^ happened, a few weeks later my room was infested by brown recluse(sp?) spiders when all the hurricanes in fl hit (i live in the woods, on a lake, so when it rained for like 2 weeks straight, bugs moved into the house to get out of the water)..and they were biting me in my sleep. thought the bumps were heat rash from work..and finally woke up on night 3 with them crawling all over me. luckily they caught the infection before it spread into my bone. alot of muscle gone on that one, right after most of it had been infected with MRSA //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

i think they gave my doxycycline, a strand of tetracycline. My infection got so bad they had to cut my arm open to squeeze all the puss out. (as seen in above pix)

they put me on keflex(sp?) and one other one. i forget what

they say the only way to get rid of it is when the shit comes to a head, like a huge pimple, to pop it to get the shit out, and when you do that, it only forces the infection deeper into whatever tissue its ontop of. so your fucked either way.

yeah. the gym here was really bad, then i guess everyone in the gym started getting it. they would never clean the machines or anything, now they hav someone that goes around wiping all the machines off with disinfectant.

think of it like..if you have an open sore with muscle right under it, someone shoving a red hot scalpel as far as they can into that muscle..then pushing all around it until you cant even breathe anymore it hurt so bad

i know but isnt it one way you can catch MRSA? a nurse told me its tranmitted by touch or can be airborn in a place such as a gym?
