I think my Focal Polyglass 165 V1 is blown

About a week ago I noticed slight static coming from the right side speaker. It faded in and out so I reset my head unit and it went away. However I was truly mistaken, this week the static is 500% worse, it sounds like a bad rain strom with thunder and lighting. I also hear a popping sound from the speaker. When I completey remove the face plate from the radio the static stops however when the face plate is on, with no volume, the speaker starts to get staticy and its LOUD. So is the speaker blown?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

Sounds more like a wiring problem on your right channel. Are you running them on crossover with tweeters I assume? If the static sound is coming just from the woofer, check your wiring after the crossover to the woofer. If it's coming from both woofer and tweeter check your wiring from your head unit. If you're using amplifiers check all of your wiring, specifically your right channel speaker wires and RCA's.
