problems I have with it.

There is no slide release, which isn't really that big of a deal, just odd.

It's sharp as hell, all the corners are 90degree cuts, making reloading some what tricky as you need to be dead on. I will end up flaring the mag well soon.

the factory packaging is crap, it came with some fine scratches I get to buff out, gladly it's stainless so it's easily fixable.

It's also pretty much a close quarters point and shoot gun the sights are pretty much impossible to use in a quick situation, there is some red paint on them that helps them stick out a little from the slide but that is it.

Rofl^^ I really don't like the ppk's looks too much but my GF has one in .380 and it shoots pretty well. Ammo doesn't cost an arm and a dick either. lol

I love the 1911 style though. My favorite so far.

I looked at a blued one as well. I liked the stainless better though. I do know that for the same price as my glock this things trigger kicks the glocks ***.

my 1911 is going to be going off to have the slide lightened and a comp installed after I swap the barrel out to a wilson combat.

thinking about buying the ultimate douche gun next.

some where around there. I'll have that much into my 1911 as well. I know for **** sure I'm getting a new extracter for the 1911 soon. Kimber decided that shell ejecting in your face are a good thing I guess.

What 1911 is that? I am thinking of getting the Kimber Crimson Carry 1911 .45... looks similar.
mmmmmm... Kimber //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif I can haz?

it's the crimson carry pro.

The grips are garbage, I'll be swapping out to wilson combats sunburst when I get around to it.

nope about .5" above my right eye. It's a problem a lot of these kimbers have, I can fix it but I want to swap everything over to bullet proof parts anyway.

The thing is still not broken in and is stiff as hell so that is part of the problem as well.

depends on budget, I love my kimber. Even though my previous post make it seem like I don't, it was $1200. For most people it would be fine right out of the box, kimber will take it back on warranty if it has the extractor problem mine has. A cheaper one that is still good quality are the para ordnance or rugers.

I would stay away from taurus if you can afford it. It is much easier to start with a good gun then it is to take a mediocre gun and make it better. Swapping out triggers and such arn't just drop in parts.

I sort of want a night hawk for my next 1911. I will how ever be saving a long *** time for that.

Advanced Armament Corporation Pistol

the taurs stuff isnt exactly the best, but i do love my pt145 for ccw, its cheap enough i dont have to worry about it taking a beating being carried every day, and after a couple thousand rounds i havent had an issue out of it, so i cant complain.

ive actually been debating getting a custom built 1911 for a while, just have to work that one into the budget.

the Beretta knock offs and some of their other pistols aren't bad, I hated the 1911 though. I bought my glock for a throw around gun, it feels and shoots like a **** airsoft though. I need to replace the trigger.
