I bought this old school Diamond Audio Mac Daddy 10.4 about 6 years ago fresh and minty still in box. I've been running about 400w to it since then. A month or so ago it started making this awful cracking noise in the cone area. I stopped using it and thought I saw where the dust cap was peeling up and figured that was the problem. I purchased glue adhesive used for these applications and quickly found out that it was just barely pulled up on the lip so glue wasn't really making a difference because it wasn't lifted enough to get the glue under it. (Now I have a lovely glue mess on the cone)

I don't know anything about subs except the basics of wiring one up. I don't know if this thing is blown or what, I took it out of the box and inspected it but other than common sense damage I have no idea what I'm looking for. Everything looks okay but again.. I'm a newb

I made a video hoping someone could give me some advice

Thank you
