i 've had this distro block for about 8 months now and it;s been just fine. well recently the gas prices have gone out of the roof. $3.40 here in los angeels is the cheapest. i haven't been driving my car much since then because of this let alone letting the 12's slam. **** subs guzzle some gas.

the distro block has a constant light that shines and never goes off. if i use the area of the distro block for mounting, the light shines. basically if i put in a screw to hold the block down on one corner the light shines constant, so i dont have a screw on that corner so that light stays off.

so do you think this distro block is still drawing current eventhough i dont have a screw in the corner that makes the light shine.

what do you guys think of this block http://cgi.ebay.com/KnuKonceptz-1-0-Gauge-2-Way-4-AWG-Mini-ANL-Fuse-Block_W0QQitemZ220000159547QQcategoryZ50550QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

konceptz seem to make cool products..

can you direct me to a distro block that doesnt draw current. im almost positive the block is draining my batt.

thanks guys/gals

i dont think there is a light on the linked distro. Its the one he has now that has the light. He wants to buy that knu one, because it DOESNT have a light. Or at least thats how i take it.

solar powered? it stays lit. it gets power from the 0gauge wire from the battery which is constant, and then when i mount the block to the car one of the mounting screw holes acts as the ground to light the light up.. when i turn the car and stereo off the amps go off as well, but im just not sure about this doggone block

yeah the freaking light is cosmetic. my whole car has 5% tint and that **** light is still bright. no need for it though it just draws uneccesary attention.

does some cheaper end bloacks draw current or do they all draw current?

after 3days of my car sitting she barely wants to crank up. she was all the way dead when i went to memphis for the holidays.
There has to be a problem other than that LED in your distro, man.

My car sat for three months while I was overseas with my wife last year (well ~ overseas making her my wife //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) and that whole time the memories and whatnot in the HU were obviously being maintained as well as the flashing LED for the alarm and the battery still had juice in it after that long.

3 days? There's another problem, friend //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

okay i tested my battery and it's at 12.63v, cause i drove it today. i disconnected the inline fuse that powers the amps. im gonna see where the voltage is at over the next couple of days. testing it everyday to see where the voltage stands. if voltage remains the same then the power draw has to be coming from the distro block, if the voltage still drops as it has been normally then the draw is in the HU although there is wirenuts on all wires connecting the HU
