he originally listed it with a 300 BIY but he said after seeing what they go for he changed the auction and removed it. Some how ebay put that back up when the auction was closed. The BIY was not available during the auction. I also have a new email...

You mean there was a legit aution for $300 BIN on a set of $1000msrp speakers and those other idiots were bidding?? And who came up with the offer of $385 in the first place?? Was that your offer and he took it??

This is what I think happened:

• He listed it for $300 BIN
  
• Dumbasses bid instead of just buying them for the $300 (which is why the BIN was gone by the time you saw it)
  
• You offered $385
  
• He took your offer
  
• You got pwnt

He didn't change anything and he's making shit up about eBay "somehow" putting it back up after the auction was closed since he didn't want you to know about the original $300 BIN.. When he cancelled the auction, it cancelled the bids and put the listing back to it's original state..

Looks like you didn't rob eBay after all, my friend.. I believe it is you that got robbed, for $85 (minus shipping)..

looking at ebay three z6 sets have sold recently for 370, 345, 375 + shipping for used sets.

so he may not have gotten an amazing deal but it is still a good price for some nice *** components
